I grew up in a family with low financial resources in a small town. Since my childhood I knew that I would need to work hard in order to obtain financial stability, therefore, at the age of 13, I started working for my father and then, at the age of 20, creating my own business.

My small company was a success for many consecutive years. However, due to the lack of professional maturity, some of the choices I made consequently put me out of business.

At the age of 28, I made the most difficult and challenging decision of my professional life: move to the USA. I didn`t speak the language, didn`t know what I was going to work with neither had resources or friends. At the time I just had the courage and attitude to search for something new.

The reception at this new world was very challenging because, besides the personal worries, I faced prejudice from coworkers that were 10 years younger than me. It was my willingness that kept me focused to my objective. I fought hard and the most important, I knew how to wait for seed to flourish.

I look to the past and feel grateful. Grateful to God for blessing me, grateful for my family for supporting me in the difficult times and also grateful for all of those who worked by my side.

Best Regards,
Beto.
